No one is perfect. You can leave your spouse because you didn't like his laugh ( after ten years.) or you didn't like his friends or you had a feeling of "unhappiness." You can always come up with something. Why don't people just say that they wanted to do something else instead of blaming it on the spouse?

usually these people make up all kinds of things and blame it on the spouse they are seeking to leave, mostly to distract from the real reason that might make the leaving spouse look bad in the eyes of family, society, and even the spouse they are leaving. they blame it on the spouse, to avoid taking any of the responsibility for the wrong they are doing to the spouse they are leaving. there is always a reason, but it is not the reason they are giving, the real reason would point the wrong back at them, and others would see just how shallow and selfish they are.

Yes you can but i usually dont look at it as a reason i look at it as finding or making and excuse to leave!!!! Excuses are like belly buttons everyone has one! I totally agree with you on this one. I like your input and reasoning here. It is much easier to blame the other person then to blame ourselves for what we have done. It is called deverted blame. Remember it takes two to make or break a marriage.

Leaving any relationship is hard usually, so putting the blame in one another makes it a little easier to move on.

I agree that no one is perfect and if you think about it long enough, you can always find many reasons that it will not work out.

....No one ever wants to take the blame.....
