Last year we went to Majorca for 3 days over valentines. The year before we booked a nice hotel for a night and had a lovely dinner there too. This year? I've got to put my thinking cap on yet. So i'll keep a watch on here for any good suggestions.

My honest opinion, and in my experience, is to have it at home with candles, champagne, a nice meal and soft music, unless you have quite a lot of money as restaurants do tend to rip you off on Valentines day and that is if you can get booked in anywhere at all!

I am with all those who say having a nice evening at home is preferable. After all, some men do not like crowds after having a day of putting up with people at work or school.
