I want to know how to get a cooking show i made to be on food network? Also if you have connections then can you please help?

I love the Food network. I would love to see a show that uses regular/everyday food items that we would have in our pantry or a 4-5 item per recipe meal prepared.

Have you heard of Next Food network Star it is a contest on the Foodnetwork to get your own show you just submit a tape but you would have to check their website to find out when they are doing it.

If I had connections I would just steal your idea and do it myself. Seriously, have you written, called, or e-mailed the Food Network to find out how to go about it?

I would recommend trying to contact one of the people who are well known in the tv cooking show arena and make friends with them by first explaining exactly what you are trying to do and then sending them a sample of your show,etc.I would recommend:Ming Sai,Rachel Rea,Emeral Laggasi,etc.......
