Where to search for journal?

I'd like to know if I can read scientific journals online? I've read many research papers and there're so many references cited at the end. If I'm doing my thesis, how do I search for facts? I can't be reading all the journals from page to page.

Quite often you need to be a member of a professional society or pay a fee to have access to online journals. Check your library or your department at the university; they may have subscriuptions already.
