I started my own business when I was in school through BeautiControl. The Spa parties are really fun and relaxing and you really get out of it what you put into it. You decide your own schedule, how much or little you work, you have a lot of flexibility. Plus you also determine how much you can make and how much you can advance.

Let me know if you are interested.

Being so young and having no A-levels is going to be difficult to find a job that pays well. Even A-level and university students usually start on a relatively low income. Increased pay only comes with increased experience i'm afraid! The only suggestion I can make is that you stay at home with your son, and when he is old enough to go to school you could then get a part-time job working for a company doing reception work or general office duties and slowly work your way up the ladder. It would be useful to know what kind of work you would like to do however in order to suggest more ways in which you can get work that pays well.

BIG mistake - conceiving children at such an age. I'm sure you already know that. But these are the ramifications - and these situations outline the IMPORTANCE of education, which is to provide.

Now that you have a child - you need to keep them as your focal point. Maybe right now, you need to enroll in a community college and take online or distant education, and do a diploma or certificate in a program, which help you get a start at a better job.

There a lot of programs out there that can help you get some sort of education at home - just google distance education and look for one in your local area.

For now, you need to prove for your child and assist your partner in providing for your family, so if that means you need to take up a job at Mickey D's, might as well be it. Send your kid to daycare, work - pay off daycare and save for your future education.

Your partner is only doing what is right for your family by working - so you need to do your part.

go to college, the amount you will receive will be enough to manage on whislt you study.
consider foundation course to work towards a degree in a chosen subject.
if you study part time you can get upto 4100 student loan
1300 higher education grant
1300 parents learning allowance
85% of childcare costs paid
upto 2500 from the university due to your circumstances.
and upto 5000 tax credit if your partner were to work parttime

that's 14200 a year plus what your partner earns and most of the childcare costs covered

this way you move toward a btter job/life
both you and dad get to spend time with your son

the figures are average and will depend on your own circumstances, talk to your LEA and the inland revenue

It's always been unusal for the dad to stay home...
How is your resume? Have you tried to work as temp where they offer training? There are also programs (depending on where you live) that you can get career asistance. There is a lot more out there besides careers waiting tables or bar... you need to figure out what your strengths are and build upon those abilities.
Good luck.
