Look on the door pillar for a sticker that will have that information along with the load it can handle. That's the only way to know since it varies depending on a great many factors, including options as to engine and transmission.

look on the inside of your door jamb. there is a sticker that says max gwsvr or something along the lines of that. take that number and the max weight subtract it and that is exactly how much your car weighs when it rolls off the production line. minus everything that you have in it.

I have a GMC Sierra, standard cab, short bed.
Weighed it once, it was 4850 lbs.

It depends.

Regular cabs:
Model 1500 is 4448 pounds.
Model 2500 is 5030 pounds.
Model 3500 is 4952 pounds.
