Just make sure you stay hydrated as dehydration can cause contractions. Even if you can't keep down food, small and frequent sips of water/gatorade/ginger ale are important. Or try munching on ice chips.

I think you should be fine I am pregnant and when I was less than 3 months along I had a 24 hour stomach virus where i couldn't keep solids or liquids or even my own spit down it was horrible but in the end the baby ended up being fine and so did I. Just try To stay hydrated(I know its hard but that what my doctor told me.)
Good luck, hope you feel better soon.

I had the stomach flu with my first pregnancy. Oh man it was horrible. I was only about 8 weeks along also. I never want to relive those days. But my baby was fine. I was also in a car wreck when I was 4 months along and my daughter is a happy, beautiful, bright, and delightful 3 year old. That amniotic sac protects them more than you think. But even not being sick make sure you drink lots of fluids. By the end of your pregnancy you'll be drinking gallons of water a day, lol. :) Good luck to you!! :)

The baby will be fine, just drink lots of liquids. I had a stomach virus with both of my pregnancies and couldnt keep anything down for 24 hours but I kept drinking and the babies were fine.

Yes, many women get sick during their pregnancy. Just be careful about what you take when you are sick. There are many OTC medications that are not safe for your baby. Always check with your OB about what is safe to take when you are sick.

I had a very bad cold and ear infection when I was pregnant with my daughter and she is just fine. I am 7 weeks pregnant again and suffering from a cold. My OB told me not to worry.

Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and baby!

I even have had it two times in this being pregnant. as quickly as at 24 weeks and yet another at 28. It would not harm the toddler in any respect, you purely ought to ensure you have become lots of fluids so which you do no longer dehydrate. good success and congrats!

you should be fine, the only thing that might pose a risk is if you ran a high fever.
If you were throwing up, just think of all the millions of woman with have morning sickness and throw up all the time, and they turned out to have happy healthy babies. :o).

Congrats to you, and i hope you have a great pregnancy!!

Your baby should be fine. Make sure you stay hydrated. Call your obstetrician's office and ask to speak to a nurse.

Take fluids (freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh tea, homemade soup), sleep, relax, and when you get well, check up with your gynecologist. Most of the time everything goes OK.
