i have just got XPsp2 for my comp but when i know start it up from beginning it automatically logs on as admin straight away without giving an option for who wants to log on, there are three differant user account available, but still logs on as admin, any idea's please

Download & install this free utility from Microsoft :

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

The option to choose the default user for logon (as well as many other nifty tools) is in there.

FYI ... you must have administrator priveledges to install it.

Try to make someone administrator! means give a user administrative rights. It could be possible if only admin have admin rights so..

go to the user area in the settings and select to change the way users logon, you probably don't have any passwords setup and then you also have autologin setup...if you change the settings to prompt for userid and password then you'll get the logons back, doesn't matter if you have passwords or not, just change the way users logon to both use fast user switching and the logon screen.

try: tweakui. Just search for it and get the right version its the easiest way to solve the problem. Download and install.

Make sure that the autologin feature on your computer is off (try using tweakXP)
