Most schools in most states have their web monitered by a company like WebSense. It's not possible to go around the things blocked by them, unless you're a master hacker. If the school district does there own blocking, it might be a little easier, but if you have to ask the question, you don't have the ability to do it.

Why get on at school? They have security blockers on most computers in a school and it gets monitored. If you have to sign onto a computer or one is in a classroom they will know. No reason to get into deep trouble over wanting to get on line. This could lead to your computer rights being taken away and then you won't have to worry about getting past blocked sites.

The sites are blocked for a reason, so while there are sites out there that may get round the firewall/web nanny software, using them will only lead to you being punished.

i dont think you need a site for that ( i may be wrong though), i think is has to do with the setting in the computer, they probably got u on as guest not administrator, besides ur there to learn not go to school restricted sites, save the @@@@ for when u get home

They block those sites for a reason - because they are a waste of your schools time and resources. If you want to MySpace or look at porn, wait til you get home, and do it at your own expense.

kk
b like me
at 8 i decided computers were the future and ill b their, and today im a compiter programmer, dont come on yahoo, and search some terms./..
do u know what a PROXY is????
computer net nanys and crap at school runs on a filter, these filter's filter out DNS's and ip addresse's some times... ( so lets find this out....)
pick a website like ebaulmsworld or somthing from home
find the ip of that site
( Start > run > cmd > type > ping ebaulmsworld.com (my spellings bad))
it will come up with a x.x.x.x number,
that is the ip address from ebaoulmsworld. When u type it in your browser it goes to a DNS server looks up ebaulmsworld.com, sees the IP associated with it and redirects you.
so lets skip the DNS entirly shal we? and see if the filter is just on sites domains, or on ip's aswell
at school try the ebaulms world ip like this in a browser
http://x.x.x.x
ex .
http://59.82.67.1
(PROLLY SOMTHING WAY DIFF)
if it goes to the site ur in business :) and u can find all the ip address's for your sites and not have to remember words again!
the other way they filter is by DNS
my work used to let in any website with the first four letters being cing
so like www.cing.com
or ne thing
so what i did was
go to freeservers.com or ne other free website hosting site,
make like
www.cing.8m.com
or if ur schools likes STmikescatholic or somthing and will only let in theirs do like
www.stmikes.ca.on.gov.8m.ca
(notice we got the whole goverment suffix on it ;) )
then on ur free webhost, make a proxy,
u can find many places to get proxys and instructions on how to install and keep em up, and then what u do is say u go to your
www.stmikes.on.ca.gov or what ever, and it opens a proxy (witch is like a server side browsing window)
from your proxy, it has an address bar just like ur internet explorer, and u can search ur little heart away
LAST NOTE
since proxys are really server side, and alot of them dont like insecure stuff, they diss alow scripts and java alot of the time so if ur trying to play games and stuff make sure those settings are on, on your proxy

One way to get what you want is to visit a web site that translates any web site into other languages, type in the URL of the site you want to visit, and have them translate it into English (i.e. essentially load the page you want, and do nothing)

Try this
Go into safemode and see if the admin account had a password, if it doesnt just make yourself a new account with admin rights and you are set.
I know it sounds stupid but plenty of admin's forget to put a password on the default admin account.

These blocks have usually been put in place for a reason, i.e. to stop them getting into trouble for having inappropriate material on their machines.
