Why do you single out "people"? Humans are as much a part of this planet as pretty-faced wallabies or forest elephants or any of the other millions of species that live here. Why are there pretty-faced wallabies only on earth?

When life, even intelligent life, is found elsewhere in the universe it probably won't look like us. All species on Earth are probably unique in that regard. The different species on another planet, however, will be just as interrelated to each other as we are to all the other species on this planet.

We will not be able to breed with them.

How do you know there are no other planets that people could live on? Recent finds outside our solar system actually have scientists thinking that they may have found another planet that could support human life.

I certainly hope you don't believe that there is NOT life on other planets in other galaxies. It's next to impossible for there NOT to be life "out there". Every star you see in the sky is another sun... with a possible 9 or whatever planets revolving around it. Considering our sun is one of the youngest in our galaxy... and we evolved... other life has to!

Earth formed due to the effects of gravity. Humans evolved because of the effects of natural selection on mutating DNA.

in the vast universe there are probably many planets suitable for human habitation, but there are some small technological issues that need to be solved before this option becomes viable.

There are many theories that I've heard. One of them is, that there is a tenth planet where there are other human beings, and they were looking for another planet to inhabit. They chose Earth because it was similar to theres.

Another was that we used to live on Mars, and it was becoming desolate, so they "moved" to Earth.

The questions your are asking are not related to science and actually make no sense. Does the world actually need a reason to be here ? I think not.

Who says we can't? The problem is mainly one of logistics.
