hi,
i think that a older version of windows used to be installed on my computer (windows 2000) because there is files that say windows 2000 and stuff in them and im running windows xp. and i don't want to lose all of my drivers either because i have a laptop. i think it is taking up room on my hard drive. i don't want to formate my hard drive but if i have to is there a way to remove everything except my operating system because i don't have an operating system disk to re-install windows on it. and i don't want to go out and buy a new OS disk

This is more of an idea than an answer. You could try restoring your computer to a really early date, u could try de fraging your computer because this may sort the files out. You could try getting somthing called smartfixfraud (just copy and paste that word in google n download it and read the readme to work it) this also may fix the problems automaticaly if all this fails then back up your drive onto something eg: external hard drive or other computer, and re format your computer. then put the backed up files onto your computer. this will able you too choose wat u loose and wat u dont :) hope this helped in any way

On a Mac, shift/administration/3 takes a image of the show. in case you press shift/administration/4, you could click and drag over the area you choose for; the image is taken once you launch the mouse button.
