Wealthy is just money and power is control. But you usually need one to go with the other. But you can control people if you have a dominant personality and are aggressive.

A person could be fairly powerful without major wealth. For example, a sheriff, chief of police, or mayor in a small town might have a great deal of power in the sense of being able to influence his surroundings and make others' lives better or worse. But it wouldn't necessarily amount to wealth, not any more than a regular middle-class lifestyle.
By the same logic, you might have a lot of wealth if you won the lottery, inherited a lot of cash, or wrote a hit song or best-selling novel. But if you chose to just enjoy the money and share it with your family, then you'd be enjoying wealth but not much power.
Whereas a large business owner, high-level politician, big shot CEO, or organized crime boss would have both.

Wealth is your money.
Power is your command/respect over others.
Now the relation between two is complicated.
In the materialistic world wealth brings power, as money is respected in the world. If you have money, you have the power.
Sometimes you can have wealth, but still you do not have power of changing your surroundings according to your choice.
(for example, a minor inheriting loads of money)
Sometimes you do not have wealth, but still you have power. (supernatural cases or astrologers etc who are respected due to their special abilities).
Sometimes you have neither of them :)))))))))

Wealth is the accumulation of assets. Power is the exercise of control. You can have either one without the other.
