i always look before i sit on the toilet, not sure why, but i think im worried about a snake being down there or something lol

I alway check the toilet seat, incase some one has pee'd on it, if i am out and in the public toilet, i check the seat, and put toilet roll to cover it.. i don't like the idea of sitting on a toilet seat that a stranger has sat on..uggghhh..

Yes, habit I guess. But would not want to sit on a dirty seat. Been there and done that!!!
Also once sat on a seat without looking and realise almost too late that the seat cover was not up!! I had sat on the lid!!!!!!!

Definitely! To make sure the seat is clean, and in public toilets I actually put toilet paper on the seat to sit on too.
Also I like to make sure there isn't someone else's crap or likewise in the bowl. Last thing you want is to do your business and get a splash back on your bum with someone else's crap in it!

Yes, to make sure my 4 year old son hasnt covered the toilet seat in wee and to make sure the previous user has flushed it.

Haha, I look, but I don't sit on public loos, I squat over them. I don't splash any, cos I have mastered my aim, but I still don't like the thought of sitting on a seat where hundreds of other women have sat on...

around my house you have to look or you may wind up flushing a pet, science project or kid down never know whats in the toilet here

I always look to make sure that it has been flushed by the last person. There is nothing worse than a splash back of someone else's wee!!

after i watch Jaws, i always look down the loo before going! havent a clue why, its not like hes going to come out of the pipes and bite my bum!

i always look down the toliet before i sit on it but this is not of choice i put toliet paper around the seat when im out so i have to look
