I think he would have been aborted long before birth. Was his life worthwhile. He was treated badly in his life so would todays solution have been better for him?

Thats something that only he could answer. In my experience, most disabled people value the life they have, and are glad to have been given it. Me, I'd have prefered to have been aborted.

I think you would have had to have known him to answer that question. Some people have poor quality of life, but don't let it get them down. He may have been very grateful for having the life he had. He was bullied and ridiculed, but he was famous to some degree wasn't he. He must have enjoyed it, otherwise he would have been a recluse all his life and nobody would have ever even heard of him.
