My 3 month old daughter has been a little constipated. Although she has been have a bowel movement every day, its a much smaller amount than usual and its kind of hard and sticky. I have tried (my doctor recomended) Karo syrup for the constipation and while that has helped her go it has not softened her stool at all. Is there anything I can try to help soften it?

Pear juice easier on the lil ones stomach than prune or apple juice. Just make sure you put water in it also.. Worked greatly for my lil doodle bug..

There are many over the counter products available that would provide relief for your baby. Ask a pharamict to recommend something for you, I've found that glycerin suppositories for babies/children work more effectively.

What works the best (I think) is prune juice, and it doesnt take very much either, just water it down and it works good, also try apple juice too. Good luck
