Its not actually a real anti-virus message, its a pop up designed to get you to go to the site and buy their anti-virus products. Get yourself a pop up blocker

I usually take a lazy route to dealing with these sods. I work out what they are, via process of elimination, and block them linking with their original source via my firewall. This means they are still there, but you have effectively disabled them. Its an idea to keep a regular check on any new appearances in firewall's list and elsewhere in the computer. Keeping a loose list means you can often track and eliminate whole or parts of spyware.

It's an advertisment(pop up) trying to get you to buy their spyware remover.turn your pop blocker to medium , it should work, you will have one in your Norton and also if you have certain tool bars they will have them as well.

I take it you are using Microsoft browser. Change to Firefox and set it to reject popups. Firefox is free and a much better product.
