Dare I ask what the Carpenters have to do with Books & Authors? Shouldn't this entry be in Music? At any rate, Karen Carpenter did have the voice of an angel, didn't she?

I loved the Carpenters. It was a sad day when Karen died. I had their albums and just about wore the grooves off of them by playing them so much.

Yes, I loved them....Karen had a beautiful voice, so talented, just a shame that she had to go, but her music will live forever.
