Nice! big looking, small engine bike! Great for around town, short hi-way trips, not the best for 2-up! Very few problems with this model, disregard comment in other answers about starter gears, not on this model, only early 750s& 920s

Obviusly this isn't a seroius question. On message boards and things like this people may make fun of a 250cc bike however in real life I don't think anyone will say anything to you and even if they do who cares? Do you ride to make others think your cool or because you enjoy riding? Also, just curious why you can't get something bigger. As long as your 18 there shouldn't be any laws about what cc bike you can ride. If your concerned about not being tall enough or weighing enough that's also not an issue. I saw a small women on a big old harly the other day. If you can touch the ground which you will be able to on pretty much any cruiser and can control it your safe. I'm only 5'8" about 140lbs adn I ride an 800, started out and learned on it too.

Great Bike. Had a '94 and miss the hell out of it. Only problem I had was the speedo cable backed itself loose at the front wheel. Not a great 2 up bike. Unless you both weigh about 100lbs each. The bike will bottom out on the rear suspension with 2 people. Take care of it and it should last you a good long while. Have fun and watch the other guy!

Good starter bike, small, yet not too embarrasing to drive. Ride it for about 4-6 months (as long as you put 500+ miles a month) and then sell it for what you paid and move up. They're reliable and fairly smoot for a "small" bike. Don't bother to "customize" it as you'll be throwing your $$$ away!
