I'm just not excited about this years SB. Two awful teams are playing that got in on easy playoff schedules. I mean, it just doesn't seem it will be as interesting as the Steelers/Seahawks or Patriots/Eagles type hype.

While it would have been nice for the Saints to make it in for the Cinderella story, the Eagles are much weaker than either Chicago or Indy. In fact the whole NFC East is overhyped- inconsistent Cowboys, hot & cold running Giants, unwatchable Redskins...

Steelers and Seahawks- that WAS the worst superbowl in recent memory. I thought my TV had accidentally tuned to Animal Planet, so many zebras.

This year would have been better with the Chargers or Ravens representing the AFC,. But the Colts are clearly the next best team, with that offense. Maybe next year we'll see Cincinatti make an extra point!!

I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't watch this Superbowl, because it could be a good one. Everybody is saying the Colts are a shoe-in, but: The Colts run defense was suspect for most of the season, so don't surprised if their current success in the playoffs in that department begins to fold a little during the big game. One of the league's best offenses versus one of the league's best defenses- it should make for a very interesting game, as long as the viewer has any knowledge as to the nuances of play calling, formations, packages, and other adjustments. If the Colts overload the run D too much, then Grossman can use one of the few strengths he has: the big pass downfield. On the other side of the ball, the Colts will probably have to pass to set up the run, which means Peyton will be throwing the ball a lot-- and if he doesn't choke, this could be a wildly entertaining game.

I am a Steelers fan, by the way, so I have no bias toward either team and just want to see a good game.

I'm sure it will be a very competitive SB, but I think the national interest in this game is lacking. The ratings will probably be low for this game as it has two teams so close together geographically. It would have been a much higher rated game if the Saints or the Patriots were in it.

You must live on the East coast. I think it's about time we had a mid west Super Bowl! It's time to have some different teams in there. I think that it will be a great game! Cool how the animal named teams won (Bears/Colts) over the teams with superior human type names (Patriots/Saints). I am truly interested in the Super Bowl for the first time in years!

Go Colts! And my favorite team is the Detroit Lions. Sad, eh?

OK. here is to everyone who is yelling at the refs. IF YOU HAVE TO BLAME THE REFS FOR "TAKING SIDES" YOUR AN IMBECILE!!!!!!!!!! COME ONE PEOPLE!!!!! and this is NOT going to be a boring Superbowl either. OK. the bears have a really good defense, the colts-not a very good one. passing game- the colts have a really good passing game, while the bears, not the best. but this is going to be a really interesting game. and if you have to blame the refs for "rigging" the pats/colts game, you don't know sports. and that's pretty sad that a 12 3/4 year old has to tell you to grow up or don't watch the dang game at all. just get over it. and its pretty sad that some people wont watch the Superbowl because their "favorite" team isn't playing. GROW UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

I fell asleep during the Bears game (at 16-14!) and the Colts-Pats game I had to get my kids to bed at halftime. Even with the comeback, I don't feel like I missed much.

On the other hand, I would not have wanted the Saints or Patriots there either, so I really didn't care.

We are not going to watch the super bowl in our house this year. The penalties that were called in the New England/Indy game were awlful. The Colts were going to win no matter what because the officals were going to make sure of it. It is sad when games are decided on whose side the ref's are on. I have seen this happen more and more in pro sports and it just makes you not want to watch. Hopefully the Bears can overcome what seems to be an already fixed Super Bowl just so Peyton Manning can finally win one. Just to clarify something to, I am not a New England fan so this is coming from an unabiased person. I just know what I saw and I can say I believe those officals should be fired it they do not know how to call a fair football game.

Not so sure they don't deserve to be in it. The bears stopped the best rated offense in football with the saints and I was'nt sure that was going to happen. And the Colts came back to beat one of the greatest playoff teams in recent history. So with the exception of Rex Grossman, I think they played just well enough to be in. And the scores showed that.

Nah, it won't be the worst...it won't be 55-10 or anything like that. The Colts should win easily (neither team will be able to run the ball, so Manning vs. Grossman...hmm who do you pick?) but it should be entertaining for at least most of the game.
