If you look at everything in our universe as being pure "energy" whether it is you, the computer you are typing on, or the tree outside your window, HOW could the stars, planets and universe not affect us? To this day, fishermen still use the phases of the moon to determine tide charts and if it will be a good fishing day etc. If you look at it from an energetic perspective, we are all really ONE.

I believe in astrology. My belief in fate is a lot more complicated. I don't think are "fated", but I think sometimes thing can be fated - as in meant to happen. More specifically because of the choices you made. The principle of free will is a foundation of astrology - basically stating that you have free will - what you do with your life is your choice. Or as one saying goes, the stars impell not compell! Astrology is to show you your potential and where you are choosing to grow and what energies you are going to work with.

Because they want to believe in something. But they chose to believe in something that can and has been proven wrong on several occasions. Why do you think horoscopes say things like, you "could be" feeling (enter what ever word you want to use) today? They have to say things such as could be, may be, possibly ect. so that they won't be sued for fraud. Since they don't guaruntee anything to happen they're not held responsible when the prediction is wrong. But like I said some people (not all) just want something to believe in. I think astrology can be fun, but to base your life on it is something I just couldn't do. I didn't know anything about astrology until I was 14 and for a while I believed in it. But when I realized that I was best friends with people from signs that I was suppose to not get along with that made me question the legitimacy of it all. My best relationships were with people that "weren't compatible" with me. The reason why is because it's not stars and planets that make us who we are. It's the way we're raised and the people around us that influence our behavior. That's my two cents. Great question btw.

We've all been told or heard at some point in our lives that if you truly believe something. have faith that it will happen. Then are those who truly practice Believing and have tremendous success. A person who takes time to meditate, has a positive outlook and believes he or she can and will cope is more likely to be in better health, look younger and will have more positive fulfilling relationships. So how does what we believe impact our lives. But there is more to believing than just creating beliefs. Having positive beliefs is the first step toward creating a positive and successful life. In many ways we've been raised to not believe. If you can't see it it's not real; that's what we're taught. But believing is vital to our survival and success. If we could only believe that everything would work out; and trust that what you want can and will happen you'd have remarkable results. Have you ever wished you had stronger willpower. How can you make yourself stop doing things you don't want to do. Learn how to develop and maintain your willpower and use it effectively no matter what happens in your life.
The Lunar Cycles cultivates body-mind awareness where our attention shifts to the intuitive feeling side of self, where we learn to participate in harmony with the natural rhythm that governs our experiential world. in the power of the present. Each lunar cycle unfolds in a natural progression, much like a seedling grows into a plant that flowers and bears fruit. The progression of each lunar cycle creates a natural spiral of growth. As the moon enters a new astrological phase its energy and how it affects the inhabitants of the earth is altered. Knowing of this natural progression and where we reside in it on a daily basis allows us to relax and comfortably breathe in the unfoldment of our life experience.

yes i do in both
first off astrology if you read up on your signs you will find they are right find out what your friends signs are and they are the same too and as for fate well there is more then one fate
the fates are the ones who play the nasty games with humans they are the ones involved when you think everything is good everything in your life is going great and BANG something crappy happens that's the fates they just love sitting and waiting for the most opportune moment to show them selves
most of the time they let us make our own choices but they are still there waiting to make your life crappy for just a short time to let us all know there is a greater power at work in our lives

Fate as in destiny? Yes, in that we are all mortal.
Astrology - there are parts of it i understand enough to be able to say there is something to it. Is it necessary in order to live? No. It is just a field of study like the more acceptable -ologies ... psychology, sociology, meteorology. But honestly, there is something about it that rings true. Some know that, and some never will. That's life.

No, I don't believe in these things.
I don't believe in healing, crystals, psychic readings, ghosts, poltergeists, tarot cards, rei-ki or any other associated spiritual disciplines, the existance of divine beings, aliens, dragons, fairies or superheros.
You can though, if you want to.
And who am I to tell you differant?
You have to make up your own mind on matters of faith, you can't draw up a list of pro's and con's.
