i think you should be okay theres alot of protection in that sack but call your doc if feel you need too i fell hard when i was 7 1/2 months i was at work and in a hurry i was carring a basket of 30 lemons and a knife to cut them with i went flying throught the kitchen slipped and fell flat on my big belly with the knife thank god laying flat under me (i thank god all the time it could have been a horrible tragedy) lemons everywhere and the guys in the kitchen flipped hoisted me up and i had a skinned knee the owner of the resturant called an ambulance but it was unnecessary my doc was at the hospital and everything was fine (except our nerves) he said our bodies are similar to shock absorbers with all the fluid and placenta but i was not allowed in the kitchen again which was fine with me so relax i am sure your okay but it never hurts to call the doc to put your mind at rest....

I think your baby should be just fine, but if you'd feel better, schedul an appt, to have an ultrasound done, or some sort of monitoring, so they can check the baby.... When I was 5 months along with my youngest daughter, I was trying to run to catch the "Blue-Line" in Long Beach Ca., because I was running late to catch it on time, and I had my youngest son who was 1 & 1/2 yrs. old, on my hip, well it was a very cold morning, and the circulation in my legs went out on me, and as I was running with my purse and his diaper bag, and him on my hip I started to stumbleing, and eventually fell and landed on my stomache!!! You want to talk about scared to death, that I was going to miscarry her!!! I had already had 2 miscarriages years before my youngest son was born, so that fear always went through my head, anyway!!! I didn't want him to get hurt, so the way I landed was on my other side of my stomache!! I hurried and got up and still made the "Blue-Line" (our local train) and saw the doctor the next day, who in turn said the baby was just fine, so... I think you could rest assured your baby should be okay too.. but like I said earlier, if it'll make you feel better just go see your doctor to be sure, and so you can rest knowing all is well, you know... Smile!!!

at 17 weeks of pregnancy, it is quit delicate. You should go for scanning test coz the baby inside could suffer a injury. Hopping you didn't have any bleeding. To be sure that baby is OK, U should go to the gyneco.

Probably not. The human body is made to protect the fetus through mishaps like this, but do check with your doctor so you'll have some peace of mind.

If you are not feeling a lot of pain from it and no contractions or cramping then you are just fine.
