OK I am going to say this, when your baby has a cold and especially weezing like with asthma you do have to be careful of how you bath them and how often because it can cause a chill, and babies get really sick really quick, I know mine ended up in the hospital with RSV and the first thing they told me when I asked for stuff to give a bath was you have to have the room a certain temperature and all kinds of stuff and told me no I cannot not give my child a bath just yet.

Now to answer the question this poor woman asked, just put a little olive oil in your baby's hair and then let it set about six minutes so that the bugs can be brought to the sufus, now take a lice comb and comb through the hair and the bugs should slide right off. It does not matter whether the hair is clean or dirty, lice passes from person to person and the actually prefer clean hair so do everyone in the house hold and vacuum the furniture and floors from top to bottom, wash and dry sheets bedspread. Put all stuffed animals in the hot dryer for twenty minutes.

I hope this helps.

Why wouldn't you bath him becaue he had a cold?? Would you want to go for a whole month without having a bath? Any way you get lice from another person that had lice, not from having unwashed hair!! You need to go to the drugstore and by shampoo for lice, and wash everything in your house, sheets etc. Then give your baby a bath, just make sure he is kept warm. I wouldn't try any home remedies for the lice, just get the shampoo, your baby doesn't need to be itchy as well as having a cold.

First of all, just because he has a cold does not mean he shouldn't be getting regular baths!!! Second of all he did not get lice because you did not wash his hair!!! He got it from someone, not only do you need to buy special lice killing shampoo you also need to totally delouse your home!!!!

Go to the drug store & buy the proper shampoo & lice combs.

Also - put a couple of drops of tree tree oil in your shampoo. Lice don't like it & they won't spread to anyone else.
