I made a resolution to start being happy for others' sucesses, rather than jealous or envious of them. I also resolved to stop forming negative judgements of other people (unless, of course, they do something horrendous). I have found that I feel so much happier inside now:)

Set large goals about things that I want to improve and take small steps to achieve those goals by asking questions, reading books, listening to tapes and trying out the ideas that I discover to achieve the goals.
Try and focus on the whole part of me (physically, mentally, and spiritually).
Helping other people makes life more meaningful.
Take the time needed to be by myself.
Work on my creative side.
Develop new friendships and work on keeping old friends in my life!

I became a mommy. It has made parts of my life a little harder, but, for me, there is no better joy than my son. Plus I quit all the hardcore partying, smoking, and drinking, which add years to my life that I can spend with my son.

Accepted my imperfections and have realized that I'm a work in progress.
Started to truly love myself, something that I haven't been able to do before.
Allowed past decisions and mistakes to stay there and have moved on with the rest of my life.

Made a conscious decision to be open-minded and practice is definitely making perfect. I am finding it easier to empathize than judge and it is a great relief as I do not get angry as often and quickly as I used to.
