Can somebody plz let me know. A full summary or whatever helps

I assume you mean SDRAM. It is physical hardware located inside your computer. You would have to open the box to see it. In a desktop, it is one or more chips about 5 inches long and 1 to 1 1/2 inches high. Is held in place by a couple of little white clips on the ends of the chip(s).

Consult your owner's manual for exact location.

Cache memory (that's in motherboard) is made of SRAM chips. But main-memory is made of DRAM-chips.
