It's too early to tell.
Most of the field, as it looks right now, will be filled with (mostly) moderate political views. Giuliani, McCain, Obama, Richardson, and even Clinton are all moderate on a few issues. The current trend seems to be to move away from the far-end of politics.
I think that Clinton has the ability to win, if she runs her campaign properly. The fact that she is a woman shouldn't be an issue, but it may be. Anybody who says "America's not ready" for a female leader should look at the Philippines & Germany.
She seems to have good, fair views on a lot of things, and I think she could definitely win. Obviously, the votes during the primaries will reveal whether or not she will.

Absolutely, Senator Clinton already has plans for: 1) Handling the economy - has already presented sound measurements. 2) Ending the war in Iraq and bringing the troops home safely. 3) Dealing with the home foreclosures problem. 4) Handling the immigration situation. 5) will respect the 2nd amendment about gun ownership. 6) A very good healthplan. 7) A good energy plan. She sits on many important committees in Congress, including the Armed Services Committee - which makes her very knowledgeable about military, Intelligence agencies & foreign affairs. Many people want someone who can help solve their problems right now and they know that Hillary has the right ideas and plans. Senator Clinton is a doer.

There is really no way...she would have to carry a considerable part of the South and she will not be able to do it...Bill won his first term in part to being a "Southerner" and Ross Perrot splitting the Republican vote...Hilary is a transplanted Senator from New York, and she is very Liberal...she will never carry the South...if the Democrats want to win they need to pick a person that is moderate and is acceptable to all the country, not just the Liberal North and Far Left West Coast...and I can tell you now she will never get the military vote...we went down that jacked up road before with her jack@ss husband...

I would love to see a female president. But I don't think Hillary Clinton will ever get elected.
It would be great if she did though. I think she would have a better chance at vice president first.

I think her ideas are good about trying to find a solution to people not having health insurance. Everyone is paying for this, one way or another.
People who don't have insurance are compelled to go to hospital emergency rooms for what could be a doctor visit, but since they don't have insurance or up front money to pay, it costs the system maybe $2000 for an ER visit as opposed to maybe $80 for a doctor visit for the flu or a bad cold or pain meds for pain.
I think her ticket would be even stronger if she ran with Bill as her running mate.

In order to win the Democratic nomination (to say nothing of the general election) she has to convince the American people that she actually believes in something - that she has some convictions beyond sheer personal ambition. Bill Clinton had a way of making people think he actually cared about their problems. Unless Hillary can develop that she has no chance.

I think that she stands a good chance, if she comes through the nomination process. She is a strong, very intelligent woman that is not afraid to stand up for what is right. I think people are real tired of the repuglicans being in power and it might be a long time again before they are with the advent of the last 6 years.

SHE IS STILL LOOKING GOOD,. and did a good job with President Obama , and her husband was a very good President..The gentleman that's running with her just have to much old movement of the hands, and it seem as though he has trouble keeping his mouth shut when not speaking.

I feel she is very educated. She has a great way with words, though she tends to change her views with public opinion. I think she'd be great as president, how ever I'm not sure if public opinion supports me on this one. I don't believe that Americans are ready for a female president quite yet... I think right now we just need to worry about getting a liberal in the presidential seat....

It is time for me to seriously look at her voting record. Has she chaired any large committees? Has she written, and passed, any influential legislation? Who are the people she will surround herself with as advisers? Can she win? It's too early to tell.
