The guy that played Dave(Larkins brother) was doing an interview (for a new show he was doing). He said that the Sheriff Underlay's first wife was alive and she was in charge of Szura and was behind him and the others taking over the town when they were throwing everybody in the water. That's what he said would have aired if the show hadn't been cancelled.

I loved invasion. Can't believe they're not doing another series - especially as Series 1 finished on a cliffhanger.
I did wonder as well until I read the other answers here.

Apparently its not.
It was not very popular, so the makers say.
I think they should do a 'one-off' to at least let us know what happened at the end.
It left us up in the air.
Shame on them making us watch for 26 weeks and leaving us wondering!!!!

Never, the show was cancelled in America as the ratings/ viewing figures weren't high enough.

It isn't. It was cancelled DARN IT. Yet another show we never got to see to it's conclusion.
