A player has to play at least 10 Premiership matches in a season in order to qualify for a Premier League match.
Trivia:
Quinton Fortune has not won a Premiership medal despite his time at Man U, because he has failed to play in more than 10 matches whenever Man U win the title.
David May would have had two medals with two different clubs, but he only played 9 matches for Blackburn during their title winning year, only just missing out. Therefore Henning Berg is the only player to have won two Premiership medals with two clubs (Blackburn and Man U).

10... this doesnt have to be the full 90 minutes or a start... a player can be on for 1 minute for the first 10 games...a total of 10 minutes over a season and qualify... this is SOMETIMES why some subs are made during the 96th minute in a game with 6 minutes extra time! To increase moral and what i like to call, medalage...
