I did a pregnancy test first thing this morning (Clearblue brand) and at first the negative line was very bold with a faint vertical line, which then turned darker after about 10 seconds. Do you think this is a positive result as both lines didn't appear at the same time?

i use clearblue tests aswell.
and on the box it says to wait for 10 minutes.
but i suggest you take another test just incase.

Sometimes they don't appear at the same time. Normally the 1st line is very bold. However the 2nd line could be very faint, meaning you are still pregnant. Best thing to do is get another test and do it tomorrow morning. Then you will know for sure. Good luck!

Very good probability. If the test line,(not the control line,the con. line should turn blue and stay) turns any color other than clear then faint or not usually you are preg. Hcg levels are lower at the VERY beginning of a preg. So it might come up as faint and then turn darker. It did when I tested with my oldest daughter. Good luck and congrats!

i would say positive normally the the negative line appeares first then the positive i have done 3 and had 3 kids

To be certain whether you are pregnant or not, take EPT digital and then you don't have to guess what the lines mean or misinterpret the lines. It gives you a basic Pregnant or Not Pregnant reading. This worked for me when I took my first hpt test. Two comes in the box.

Yes!! It can take 3-4 minutes for the positive sign to show up. 10 seconds is actually fast. Congrats!

I would say you are pregnant, i took a preggy test on sat and one line showed vary fast and very clear the another line apeared within 5 minutes but was very faint, so i took another test but got one that says pregnant/not pregnant and that showed pregnant.

I would do another test tomorrow morning, as this is the best time to get a good reading as the hormone levels are stronger.
You could go to your GP and get a test from there.

it don't matter if one or two lines appear right away it matters what the end result is i think you are pregnant i would go to the store and buy another test good luck

Best Advice, do another test, or go to the doctor who can do a blood test which is often more accurate.
