I think you have generalized a bit there, I don't only think about the future at all, I occasionally think about the past.

Better to look to the future than live in the past.

That's a good point. Your whole school career is based on what you are going to do in the future. I'd say you start living in the present when you are out of school, and start living paycheck to paycheck, bill to bill, and are always broke. But, when you have kids, the whole living for the future thing starts up again. Then you have to think about THEIR schooling, if they're ready for Kindergarden, and then college, and everything inbetween...

I've never been one to set goals in life. I know you are supossed to, but I always sucked at it. My best goal right now is, If I win the lottery, what I'm going to spend it on... Here, it's up to 240 million. lmao!!!

;o)

There is nothing called PRESENT....

I am presently typing my answer, BUT that was half a minute ago, WHICH BECAME A PAST ...

Like wise, I wish to get done fast, and this will be in half another minute, SO I AM COMPELLED TO LOOK AT THE FUTURE,,,

Present tense does not exist in my dictionary...

Above (was) a philosophical reply....(Past)

Next (Future) will be a reasonable / ordinary reply:

People like to remember what has happened to./ with them in the past, and wish to make a change in the future if & when applicable..Therefore they (foresee) themselves ahead...

No matter how you regard it PRESENT remains ignored...

We live the present and when we think of the present it becomes part from the past. The present is changing second by second while your past won't be changed and u can think of it. We think of the future because it will be our present some day.

coz our present in just few seconds will be our past and we cant think about our past while we have a future waiting for us,if we do we gonna be like this person who is running while he's lookin at the back

Because we only have the future. The past is gone, and there is no such thing as the present.

You have a good point but I tend to spend more time thinking about the past. Maybe I should think about NOW more often. You're right.

Everyone is just stupid. They are so worried about what's gonna happen later in life that they forget to have fun now. If you dont have fun now then you could possibly die tomorrow and then think to yourself "If I wasnt such a douche in preparing my future, I could have had fun in my life."

past, present, future is actually the same. there is no such thing. when is 'present'? time is moving but we're moving in it as well. when you're planning the future, you're planning your present as well
