I have to tell you, this is one of the toughest questions I have seen in quite a while and I spent several hours wracking my brain trying to come up with an answer that makes sense. Sadly, there are not a whole lot of peace builders on a global scale today but I will try and say Jimmy Carter (OK, I can hear the nay sayers already). My other candidate is the Dalai Lama. If I can think of any more, I'll come back and edit my answer
