lumber for the flooring. you want a floor up off the concrete that you can insulate for warmth.

Well, im not American, but i do have some ideas. First if your garage doesnt have any heating system, you should get that defanitly put in first, also for the floor, most likely concrete, try putting down some carpeting. It will be real cold on the feet with out it. Also a couch, desk, chairs, and some more accesories like pictures and paint to make it more homely would be good touches. Good Luck!
