A friend of mine cut her arm on something earlier, and the blood ran black for the first couple of minutes. After that it was red, and she says she feels fine. What could have caused the black blood?

Well Black blood as i have known is dead blood as in dead blood cells ... its something normal don't worry ..... any way this blood has no use for her body so that something good that she had her dead blood out of her body :) that what i know

For the blood, i imagine there is. once you start up the game, you'd be requested in case you want enable "photo content fabric". that is for the blood and products of flesh that seem to fly once you kill someone and at the same time as a persons' hands come flying off. For the swearing, i'm no longer really effective about that. the options would properly get replaced contained in the options menu. also, those with microphones also swear on-line, so there is a few thing noted as 'Voice volume' in multiplayer recommendations, in case you position that to 0, you received't listen anyones microphone.

Blood is only ever black if it comes from the liver. Any thing else is just very dark red and de-oxygenated.

Bood turns black when it mixes with oxygen... it probably just appeared black while it was a slow flow but once the volume picked up... it wasn't oxydising fast enough to make it look black.
