50cc moped, goes at 30mph. How long would it take to ride about 100 miles on it and it is realistically possible?

according to my calculator, it will take 3.3333333 hours to get there at 30 mph the whole way. Of course this is possible, but im not sure i would want to ride a moped 100 miles. Your call. good luck

It would take roughly 3 hours and 25 minutes to travel from London to Birmingham (as an example) avoiding motorways.
I'd probably add another 2 hours to that at 30mph.
Its all about average speed though. Decrease your journey time by filtering the the front of queues and ignoring red lights (or flashing blue ones!)
Good luck!

Yes of course,

Just make sure you have enough extra bodyfat to last the winter!

You need to avoid all motorways etc and from Central London to Gloucester is only about 110 miles by A - Road.
The A40 is you main route.
You are probably talking about 5-6 hours and you will need to stop a few times.
Try the RAC's route planner and look out for the "little Chef's"

Oh,,, wrap up warm !

Geez, you cant work it out for yourself!!, assuming you can stay at 30mph it will take you 3.hours 20 minutes or so, however it is unlikely that you will be able to maintain 30 on a moped, cos all you need is a head wind or an uphill section and you are stuffed, so take an average speed of say 25 it will take you......, come on, work it out for yourself!!, and good luck!!

Basic maths there! 30 miles per hour, need to travel 100 miles, dur around 31/4 hours perhaps plus a bit for stopping?!! Anyway, good luck. You can do it but you won't be able to use any motorways so make sure your TomTom is working well.

Yeah, do it. But take plenty of breaks. That wee engine is going to need plenty of cooling down. Give it the once over before you go, take your time, don't rag it all the way and pick a nice calm day. 100 miles isn't that far for a one off trip.

It is possible but you may freeze to death in the process.
You cannot use Motorways and A roads are quite dangerous for mopeds.

For safety's sake try to find another method!
