↓ Select Copy
↓ Go to the source you wish to paste to i.e a document

If you have a single object there is no need to highlight it, simply Right-Hand click the object.

If you wish to purley use keyboard shortcuts to save time... highlight the object to copy, and press:

Select the text or document or whatever you need to move, right click on the selected thing (if it's a single program, you can right click it directly), select "Cut", and then go to the location you want to paste it, right click again and click "Paste".
