800 people will respond in a gigantic Yahoo flame war and you may get 3 cookie recipes. Two will suck.

I answer in polls and surveys and most ppl here will tell u the same. It all depends on your question. Ask it in the category it belongs, that could help.

It doesn't matter where you will get the most replies.
ALL questions should be asked in the category that they fit into best, posting in blatantly wrong categories, just to get more answers, is seen by many as abuse of the site and ends up being reported
