Nobody would watch, if they did'nt make fun off this people. If everyone was a good singer it would be boring, and thats what is so sad about this HORRIBLE show. Three people making fun off people just to make a buck. I don't care if these people know there going to be picked on it still hurts and you don't know what there going to say about you.

Think of it like this....would they rather hear it from a panel of judges or from the world? I think what the judges ...especially Simon is doing and saying may be harsh but we are forming a pity party society....everyone is getting there feelings hurt to easily.

Lets face it the world is harsh....if they cannot deal with what simon says then they would get eaten alive by the press in real life!

The deal with Simon being rude and Paula and Randy taking up for everyone is just the dynamics of the show! If they all just sat up there and said "Oh, honey you are just wonderful but you just can't be on our show." , who would want to watch that? All the remarks and squabbling is what makes it so fun to watch! In simple terms what Simon just did is called a publicity stunt.

Someone needs to be honest with some of these people. Simon does get a bit personal. The 'bush baby' comment was uncalled for; however, someone like a family member or friend should have never allowed those people to show up and actually try to audition to be a professional singer.

Simon, and even Randy, can be a bit mean, but these people showed up when they are clearly not even remotely qualified to even try to be on the show. They are partly to blame for showing up and their family or friends are partly to blame for not stopping them.

They have been doing the same thing since they started the show, why are people in such an uproar? People go on the show knowing full well that they can't sing because they want to be on tv, so they are getting what they deserve.

I don't start watching the show until they are in Hollywood. I don't like the try-out shows. I don't like what the judges say or how the people react when they are told that they can't sing

yes, it's too far. but that's what boosts ratings, even more people are going to watch to see just how far simon will go. the contestants know simon is mean, and they should be prepared to take whatever he dishes out and be ok with it.

Simon Cowell is horrible, he as been exposed though as not exactly being as hard as he likes to show himself in the public arena.

the judges are just telling the truth!those people who audition that can't sing need a serious reality check and the Judges give them one.i personally think the judges should be more harsh.
