On Super Nanny and Nanny 911?

Question

On those shows why do those people always have so many kids? If they're such horrible parents (and they apparently know it since they called those shows) why do they keep having kids???
I don't get it.

Actually, I do have one son. He's a year old and I know at this point he is MORE than enough for me to handle. Therefore, I won't be having anymore. I've already taken the medical measures to make sure that he is my one and only :)

maybe they didn't have so many problems until they had more kids because they don't know how to give each one attention and that's why the kids misbehave.

I take it you have no kids.People don't have to be bad parents for it to look like it.They start off fine, but kids learn how to push the buttons.Stress,lack of sleep etc. can all add to it.The bottom line is that parents have to learn to only say no when they mean it ,and not to let the kids change their minds once they do.This will also result in having to enforce the rules.By time outs,grounding,a toy taken away,etc.This last step is what parents tend to ignore."I don't want to be the bad guy.It happens a little at a time with the hole getting a little deeper each day,until you don't know how to get out.

Because, in my opinion, it takes a while before they realise they have a problem.
Usually that seems to be around kid 3 to 4 - while pregnant of the next.....

But, that is a totally speculated answer.

well i think they're doing the right thing that they at least realize they have a problem family-wise...but ur probably right in one way becuz why would they seek national television support?

No you don't. I am glad you only had one child. Life is not easy.
