It is not completely manditory to urinate before and after sex, however, doctors say that you should do it, and I would agree. It helps in preventing bladder and urinary track infections, which I used to get all the time until I got the advice to pee before sex as well as after. Its not a must, but if you have a history of UTI's, its def. worth it. Telling your guys is easy, mine understands why I get up before we have sex, and it works for the both of us cause a lot of times guys have to pee too and just dont bother to say anything. All in all... you can do it, its better for your urinary system if you do, but its not manditory.

I never heard that you were supposed to before you have sex but I guess it's good to go so that you don't have to worry about having to while you are in the middle of sex.
I know you are supposed to go right after because it helps clear out any bacteria that may have found it's way inside your urethra during sex. That bacteria can cause urinary tract infections so it's good to flush it out.

I try and urinate right after intercourse to clear out the urinary tract because...
Urinary-tract infections are common and often follow intercourse, oral or manual sex. When you have sex, the bacteria that normally reside in the vulva, vagina and anus are pushed into the urethra, the tube that carries urine out of your bladder. The female urethra is short and allows easy access for bacteria into the bladder. Most of the time your body simply washes the bacteria out with your urine, but occasionally bacteria overstay their welcome, overgrow, and cause an infection.

Its a good idea to go soon afterwards, to fluch out any bacteria, this can help prevent cystitis and UTI's.

I don't think that you are meAnt to pee before and after, but the stimulation of that region can bring on a more powerful sensation of needing to empty the bladder.

I don't know about before but you're supposed to after because it reduces the chance of infections.

I always do. Maybe we could pee together if you don't want to pee alone.
