hello guys, when I install my HP-F380 PRINTER with the CD installer why is it that there is a instruction prompted and it says like this: " the file 'usbprint.sys' on windows XP professional servie pack 2 is needed.

and below says: copy file=C:/windows/inf/:i386.

whats the problem pls? thnx in advance.

PS: also in my USB in MP3 or any USB device.

Simple. You don't have the usb 2 driver on your PC. You need to run window updates to get the Service Pack 2 or download it directly from Microsoft. Install the SP2 and you won't ever going to have problem with any usb devices.

Put your windows XP CD and everything will go write and change the route from C:/windows/inf/:i386 to where your cd is
D:/ or E:/ and point to i386 directory on the CD

You need to put your Windows XP Professional disc in, for the printer to install correctly.
