Usually they are "for" something before they are "against" it, or vice versa. Will they hold true?

Like Bush saying we don't need more troops in Iraq before deciding to send more troops to Iraq.
Cons don't want to start accusing dems of being inconsistent because they'll lose that game.

Democrats are not afraid of differing opinions. It's called a dialogue. Stop listening to all the spinsters and TV commentators and listen to the candidates themselves. The more the merrier. That goes for Republicans, too. At least one of them should get it right this time.

Depends if they are dizzy from spinning in circles. Maybe they will lay down and take a nap and decide. Or take a vote to decide and take another vote not to decide. Not feeling satisfied they will pin it on Bush and recount the opinion in favor of a decision not to decide. Flip flop, flip flop...

4 DEMS: Obama, Edwards, Clinton, Richardson - probably there won't be any more (unless it's Al Gore)

3 REPUBS: Romney, Gulliani, McCain - there may be yet several more

ALL of these people (Dem & Repub alike) except John Edwards - have said, --I'm not running-- (but now they are in the race) !!
