This place is best for getting opinions on things and not so much for accurate answers...IN MY OPINION. There are a few people who have legitimate questions and get legitimate answers but those situations are small in comparison to all of the opinion slinging.
Most of the time people could plug the same question into a Yahoo search bar or Google search bar and get more reliable answers from legitimate sources.
and NO PEOPLE....WIKIPEDIA is not a reliable source. It's an open ended online "encyclopedia" in which anyone can write an answer into for a subject.
Sometimes, a little common sense would go a long way.

Many are very accurate as some people research the questions. Others...not so much...I'm amazed at the babble some people write here at times simply to be the first to answer or so that they can get the 2 points.

It depends on the category, in many cases I have seen many correct answers but the asker accepts only what he wants to hear. However, to answer your question, yes, there are some reliable answers.
