Illegally, no!
Illegal immigrants do not pay taxes and sponge off the state, so by not contributing anything to this country, make us poorer!

What do you mean by don't behave like the Pakistani's?
Have you actually been to Pakistan / India and lived with the people? Do you know how hard it is for them to earn a living there? If people from abroad want to come and work here, pay their taxes etc... and support their parents and siblings back home by sending money what is wrong with that?
Do you earn money for yourself only and not think about your supporting your parents - the people who looked after you, nursed you from illnesses, educated you and brought you up? - oh yeah in this county when they get old you stick them in to homes rather than look after them yourself.

Why do muslims have the lowest employment rate? emmm I wonder? maybe it has got something to do with people's understanding of the Islamic faith and Pakistani culture, (Islam happens to be the fastest growing religion in the world despite the negative way it is reported in the media) i.e the riots you mentioned.
Were not just Pakistani Muslims - They were muslims from all over the world, and the protests were world wide not just in London.
There is good and bad in every faith, for some reason just because a Muslim does something bad it's a big deal. I could turn it around and say Hitler was a Christian and he killed thousands of Jewish people - does that make every Christian bad? I don't think so.
So don't take the actions of a minority and imply that everyone from that walk of life is the same. I know thousands of Pakistani's who have come here work legally, pay their bills, etc...support themselves and the wider community and have never claimed a penny from the state. Some of them have done more for this country than people who were born here.

Great question, but who can answer it without attracting criticism? I'll be brave. I think that anybody who has been in the UK for a set amount of time (say, 6 mths or a year) should have the freedom to work here. It is those that arrive, work a while, send money home and then leave again that deny British people valuable jobs and destroy our economy. That means that there is a minority of people who do take advantage, tarnishing the reputation of some of the more honorable immigrants who are prepared to live and work here indefinitely, as British citizens. This minority neds to be addressed, so that our international guests can be recognised as guests, rather than freeloaders.

as along as your legal and you don't behave like the pakistani's.
don't expect a warm welcome, Britain is full of immigrants. We're not racist, we don't care what race you are, but we are against uncontrolled immigration.

What the hell are you talking about?
Muslims have the highest unemployment rate out of all faith groups in the UK. Most muslims in the UK are originally from Pakistan.
I wasn't even talking about sending money home by the way, i was talking about the London bombings, the rioting in Bradford, Birmingham, london rioting over cartoons etc etc.

yes the immigrants that come the UK should work as people who live and work here are paying N.I. and tax to keep them. If people want to come and live in the UK they should expect to work and not to live on handouts.

I think you have to have a residential licence before working in the UK

well why not we have every other immigrant here,come on over and make yourself at home.where would you like to live,what kind of home are you wanting,do you need child-care.we will welcome and accomadate you and bend over backwards for you.
by the way do you know that the homeless over here have been waiting years toget a council house and they dont get any special treatment..................................................
