If your current study habits aren't yielding the kind of results you are seeking, try a new method of studying. Consider starting a study group or going to a tutor.

Try a study group or have a classmate discuss the reactions, formulas and definitions with you. I find that science takes a more active approach. It takes a more kinesthetic approach to learning it, while other academic disciplines require passive means.

Try to do or model the actual experiments, this way it gets into you muscle memory.
