Enough whining on my last question about the presidency. You never know what can happen, as i stated in the question before. Everyone who wrote back "Arnold cant be president, because of the constitution, blah blah crap" is just narrow minded...just like when WOMEN WERENT ALLOWED TO VOTE......OR AFRICAN AMERICANS WERENT ALLOWED TO DO ANYTHING.......im pretty sure it was your relatives that thought those things would never change too...lol.......anyways

Nice....only suffrage and slavery were not in the constitution!!!

The 1/5ths addendum was about slavery (and only for the census) and the voting thing was about land ownership and independent of the Constitution.

But I love your premise and you are right there!!!

Missed that other question, but the answers you mention seem to be just telling you the facts. So sad that you are not smart enough to accept them and move on. Have you finished 3rd grade yet. You sound very childish and immature. As for Arnold running, that part of the Constitution could change, but not in time for him to ever run. It has been tried 2 times before and been rejected.

I'd take Jennifer Granholm any day over Ahnold. What you should do--and I MEAN YOU is start the ball rolling. You start passing those petitions around, get about a million signatures. When you get finished, maybe we can give you credit for not being so narrow minded yourself. The only way to get the Constitution changed is by people like you who would rather do something about it, instead of being all talk! Leave my relatives out of it.

People born outside the U.S. are banned from running for the Presidency based on the concept that their loyalty might be to their native country if it came down to the U.S. going to war with that country. It's a part of the Constitution that needs to stay in place.

you should have stated it was a hypothetical question. there would have been a lot less "whining" about it.

i did not see your prior question.

However, if Arnold were to run for president, I would give him the same amount of attention as the other candidates. I want to make an informed decision on who I want to vote for.

I don't think there is time to get the Constitution amended before the 2008 elections. So we can get over this and on to something that makes sense.

Great, because if Arnold can be pres., then so can Jennifer Granholm, Michigan governor, born in Canada.
