I'm in a court based program where the P.O. tells you you've only got 6 months. It's a school, but it's court based so you HAVE to go there. I'm capable of getting locked up EVERY SINGLE DAY. I HATE IT. There is more to this story so if you want to know more just IM me on AIM @ TxIvory1225. In order to leave successfully you have to get 7 full core credits at that school. This prgram was made by I believe 3 or 4 judges for teens who are having trouble in school and/or with the family. Turns out I have a learning disablilty in math. I've been in this program for 6 months total now, I really want to get out. I know it may not sound like sense now but like I said hit me up on AIM. What can I do in my situation? I'm 16, on probation for trying to get away from my PSYCO mother at first..now I'm in this progra that will help raise my credits up but also slow me behind because they can simply lock me up WHENEVER THEY WANT TO. They can lock you up for the dumbest reasons! Can i get out??

It feels like they've taken all our rights away! did i forget to mention this program comes along with surveillance and phone checks? drug droppings and breathalizers. I FEEL SOO VIOLATED OF MY OWN PRIVACY. I never drank, used to smoke but stopped 2 yrs ago..I was in the D.A.R.E. program, if anything I WAS THE ONE MAKING SURE MY FRIENDS WOULD STOP DRINKING AND SMOKING..here I am having to get dropped when I don't even do that stuff. They take the innocent kids who just have problems with their family and make them out to look bad...wtf. I've been locked up TWICE in this program..1 for getting 13 tickets in like the 2nd week i was here, all cuz i was new i didn't kno anythig. 2nd because my mom started a big fuss with me and 1 of the surveillance officers seen it, reported what she heard and saw and i get locked up. It's like they BRAINWASHED our parents. They simply act like ASSHOLES because they know they can lock us up WHENEVER. THERE IS NO CHANCE FOR THE GOOD ONES I TAKE IT??

It's not me thinking about myself, when it comes to me having my own life back sure but i want to go to another school where i can get my credits up faster and not feel like im wasting my fricking time. im not the only kid that feels this way about the program. you only know about it by what i told you but you will never be able to LIVE it. like i am right now, if you can't even LIVE it you have NOTHING to say. and that's not what i asked. ia sked if i can get out or not and if i can how??..that would fall into the question category is anyone good with the law, DUH Susie D.

only reason why my attitude is negative is because the progam is negative..I MEAN IT SNOT EVERYDAY YOU WAKE UP AND REALIZE YOU JUST MAY GET LOCKED UP TODAY. IS IT? OK THEN NO. ANY NORMAL HUMAN BEING WOULD HAVE A NEGATIVE OUTCOME OF THE FACT THAT THEIR IN A COURT BASED PROGRAM AND ARE CAPABLE OF GETTING LOCKED UP EVERYDAY. DUUUUUH. I AIN TGONNA BE GO HAPPY LUCKY.

You need a lawyer. I strongly recommend going through the phone book and finding a specialist in juvenile law. Taking advice on this sort of thing from random people on Yahoo Answers is probably not the best of ideas (especially if they want to blame you). Go through the phone book and find a professional.

Attitude is everthing - and from what you post here I can see the negativity in your atittude. Everyone and everything but you seems to be the problem - that really can't be possible considering you are the one in a court sponsored program, right?
Maybe the "everybody in the world is wrong, but me attitude" needs to be changed before you can see what it is that you need to do to get yourself out of this situation. Stop looking at what everyone else's "issues" are and start thinking about the requirements that you need to complete to get out of the program. Stop making excuses and just do it -- ever stop and think that part of the program may be getting you to accept responsibility fror yourself and your actions??

Gong with what you have told us, I'd have to say NO you cannot get out. If this is some kind of court ordered program you will have to complete it. But I am sure they must have some kind of councilor. And I would suggest that you sit down and talk with him/her. Good Luck
