Bullguard Firewall and Anti-Virus question?

I am trying to install some broadband telephony software for a part time job I have just secured. Can Bullguard block installations. If yes, what can I do to make sure the programme gets installed, if Bullgaurd is the problem. Thanks.

At the time of installation disable temprarily firewall
