I have a normal desktop computer with XP. I've installed Apache, MySQL and PHP. I've copied my website to the local root folder. When I type "http://localhost/" or "http://192.168.1.101/" on the browser, the website appears. No problem.

I'm using Shared Internet Connection using Linksys Wireless Router. The ip address of the connected computers go from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.2.149. The problem comes. I can't seem to access "http://192.168.1.101/" from other computers in the home wireless network. The browser shows "The page cannot be displayed". How to fix this? I want my PC to act as a server in the home network.

One more question. The external ip addres of the router is 60.50.243.83. I've changed the router settings to perform "Port forwarding". I've changed the settings to forward port 80 requests to my PC (192.168.1.101). I tried typing "http://60.50.243.83" on another computer's browser outside the network. But "The page cannot be found". How can I fix this problem?

Your internal network scheme is invalid. Assuming a class C network (mask of 255.255.255.0) 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x are on different subnets.

Post the inside interface settings of your router -- IP and subnet mask -- and maybe we can help you sort it out.
