Dictatorship without selfish motive is always better for uplifitment of the poor. Unwanted people with criminal records are elected in a democracy. These elected representatives are worse than a dictator. A poor man has no say in the democracy. He is treated worse than a slave by the police and politicians alike.

Go live under a dictatorship where you are a minority and find out. Is that why so many different people are trying to flee dictatorships to come to America, and almost no one is trying to get into the dictatorship?
Typical question of someone who doesn't value their freedom.

If you had a truely good and enlightened dictator, like Plato's Philosopher-King, as in Plato's Republic, a democracy may not be as benificial, but given the alternatives, I'd have to go with a democracy, ( only as a republic ).

it depends on a situayion of a country,if a country is on a brink of a civil war dicatorship helps a lot on this circumstances,but democracy will always be the choice of many because its the best ways to live in a place that you can excel on everything without worrying about your safety

it is not called dictatorship in term of cracy :) lol,
it is Autocracy.
there are many cracy in administration like autocracy, beurocracy,democracy etc. in which according to studies held back between 1'st and 2'nd world war around the world (I don't remember exactly), democracy was described as the best political management theory.

Dictator who doesnt dictate people n democracy with learned leaders of no criminal history is better.
