Santa Claus are for Kids God is for the Adults,
why do adults can convince Santa Claus is not real, when they can't convince themselves that jesus/God is not real?

First of all, you are generalizing. Not all religious people are respectful and not all atheists are respectful either. Second, by saying atheists are respectful then calling religious people the crazy ones, how respectful is that?. Third, you seem to be picking on one (or two) religion, since not all of them believe in a supreme being. Hence you are not very well informed. If you have a problem with what they believe, then practice what you preach about respect by leaving them alone and treating them well, like all people (religious or not) deserve to be treated. I respect atheists as I'm a Christian and like one Christian (Francis of Assisi) once said "Go out and preach the gospel and if you must, use words. " That's why we 'preach'. I can speak best for Christians by saying that we are just obeying a command in our faith out of love that we must share the Good News with everyone. It is up to you to decide whether you want to believe, but in the end don't say "But, I wasn't told!".
Fourth, Christians are still human beings and still able to sin and commit crimes etc. that's why we have paedophiles in the church. Fifth, you basically got it all wrong!!! If one person has or a bunch of people have been disrespectful to you, it does not mean the whole group is disrespectful.

Hey, I'm a Catholic, and I believe that if God gave everyone free will to decide things for themselves, then who am I to say anything different. I have no bones to pick with atheist.

as an athoest i can respect those who have a religion and the fact they have something to believe in and hope for.
i think they lack respect because they believe that theyare right and that there is deffinatly a god even tho theres no actual proof. athiests will go to hell i guess they dont really wnt to associate with us.
