I find it funny how many people whinge about people coming into this country etc...and then follow teams like Arsenal and Chelsea without a hint of a suggestion that they should send those players back!

Britain has about 60 million people in this country. It is one of the most populated countries in Europe, there is a limit to how many people can come into a country. It is not easy getting into Australia, Canada, New Zea land or America and they have so much more land per-se than the Britian does. I think I read somewhere that Britain is 11 times more populated per square mile than the U.S. Also you talk about the English going back to Germany were they come from. The English came from not just Germany and Denmark. The British spoke French for 200 years, also you should bear in mind that when the Angle-Saxons came the population of England was very small.

I have no issue with foreigners just the number and can the country sustain it . Also with the problem of left wing PC councils undermining our own culture in the ignorant belief that it might offend others. At the end of the day we are only an island and need decent immigration controls and it is not racist to say so.

Pleeeze don,t label us all the same.
We are frightened to speak our mind for fear of upsetting
people with a massive chip on their shoulder.
There is good and bad in everyone and we are such a
multicultural society eventually we will all loose our roots.
So why can,t we live in peace and harmony. Like go to work,
pay our taxes, respect each others religions and just get on
with living and hoping to live a healthy and safe life??????????
Incidentally - you did not say where you come from! Is it Germany?

I live in England, but am Cornish and therefore Celtic.

As I have now crossed the border into Devon, should I now go back to Cornwall?

Likewise my boyfriends family moved to Devon from Southern Ireland, should they go back too?

Or Denmark, or Normandy, or Norway, or Italy...

I think the English don't mind foreigners coming to live and work in England as lomg as they work and contribute to good of the country.

It's when they come and contribute nothing, but take money that the native population starts to get annoyed. Did you know that if you don't speak English, but live in England you are entitled to more dole money? This is wrong. If you come to live here, then you should speak the language or at least be willing to learn it.

By the way, the attitude here is no different to that anywhere else in Europe.

OMG. This sounds exactly like the arguement about people coming to the US that don't know the language, getting dole money, not contributing to society. And we say the exact same things. What a crock. The whole world is in the pisser.

Yes but to take this to its logical conclusion, England would end up full of Canadians, Australians, Kiwis and Americans.

We are all descendants of migrants. And after having lived in a spot long enough we tend to forget that. The first squatters tend to be very possessive about it, even if they had to kill everyone else there to become the first.

"the english" just dont like people from other countries coming to britain and not paying their way or being part of our cultures and communities. it is wrong for people to come to this country and seperate themselves from the british people. this is what creates confusion and haterid between different cultures and races. if someone is coming here from a different country they should pay their way, get a job etc. just like a migrant from britain would do if they lived in another country.
